Happy New Year Everyone!
I usually start my year with reflections. A conference that still stands out is the Africa Emerging Leaders Conference and Awards hosted at the British Council in Accra(Ghana). The theme was Reawakening Africa: A call to duty!
For me the key lessons were those given by the keynote speaker, Prof. Enoch Opoku Antwi, Dean of Business Administration, Entrepreneurship & Communication Arts at Academic City University, Accra, Ghana.

As Africans we need to awaken our GRIT:

Intitiative
Tenacity
-We need to think about long term planning in different sectors: Agriculture, Health, Infrastructure etc
-If we dont believe i nourselves, how do we expect people to believ in us.
- Anyone an be a leader and do something eg pick up litter.
- Your passion and purpose will help you become the best leader.
- Leadership is your Character in Action
- No one can thrive in a system that doesnt work. Leaders create a system.
